Jaelyn Williams, a sophomore at Chula Vista High in California, finished fourth in the Division 1 girls final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:31.4 at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Williams also placed fourth last season in 17:38.9.
